Al-Shahba is what is called the most famous landmark in Nizwa, it’s Nizwa Fort, a combination of a castle, a fort, and a museum distinguished by its unique architecture, it’s also considered one of the oldest forts in Oman, as it was built in the seventeenth century.

Stop At: Nizwa Old Souq
While in Nizwa, never miss the opportunity to enjoy the traditional & historical Souq where It always feels authentic and genuine. Nizwa Souq is a great place to explore and buy fruits, Omani coffee, Halwa, souvenirs, and everything in between.
It also includes many traditional local crafts such as making daggers, pottery, silver, copper, spinning, selling livestock, fish, vegetables, and handicrafts.

Stop At: Al-Aqar neighbourhood
Simulate living in the 1500-year-old Al-Aqar neighbourhood, through the “Nizwa Tourist Cars” which are open-top electric cars, and through electric scooters that enable you to drive in the narrow alleys inside Al-Aqer neighbourhood that is surrounded by a two kilometres wall and contains four gates called "Sabahat".
